Triller alternative: cut your lip-sync takes to the beat in 2026
Updated October 30, 2026 · by the Stalak team
Triller no longer works, and it was the app that edited several takes of the same song for you. Stalak is a free website that does this job in the browser: you import your song and your takes, it cuts on the beat while keeping your lips in sync, and it shows the lyrics. Here is an honest comparison with CapCut and camrip.
Note: this page is written by the Stalak team. Every fact about the other tools comes from a source listed at the bottom, with its date.
Does Triller still exist?
Not really. In July 2025 the app lost most of its features. By August 2026 its online services no longer worked and it could no longer be downloaded from the App Store. Its company reported no revenue from the social app for 2025. To cut several takes to the beat, you now need another tool.
What is the best Triller alternative for lip-sync videos?
To do what Triller did, you need a tool that cuts automatically between several takes of the same song. Stalak does it in the browser, with on-screen lyrics, for free. camrip also does it, in English, with 3 free reels a month. CapCut is a full editor, but you place the cuts between takes yourself.
What did Triller do that others don't?
Triller took several videos filmed over the same music and turned them into one clip, switching from one take to another. You could then reorder the takes and add filters. Most video editors work the other way around: they give you the tools, and you place every cut.

How do you cut several takes to the beat with Stalak?
It takes three steps and a few minutes. You pick your song, add several takes of you singing along, and Stalak edits the video on the beat. You can set the lyrics style before exporting.
- Import your song, or the part you want to post.

- Choose the cut rhythm (beats, words or bars) and export your video for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

When should you pick CapCut or camrip instead of Stalak?
Each tool has its strengths. The simplest rule: pick the one that matches what you post.
- CapCut if you want a full editor with lots of effects, templates and settings, and you don't mind placing your cuts yourself.
- camrip if you want a tool that picks the best angle for each cut, 4K HDR export (Creator plan), or videos where you talk rather than sing.
- Stalak if you want lyrics on screen, many different videos from one song to post every day, a 16:9 music video, or a tool in French.
There is also Edits, Instagram's free app. It lets you put several takes in one scene and add beat markers, but you still edit by hand.
